You can access all five SCOPE courses through the links below, in any order you wish.
The five short modules below cover the topics of Governance, Financial Management, Fundraising, Communications and Risk. Each module takes between 40 and 80 minutes to complete and will give you the basic knowledge and skills you need to run your small nonprofit organisation. Jump into any module and you'll find the key information, along with case studies and short quizzes to test your knowledge. Once you complete a module you can then apply for your unique digital badge, which you can use to demonstrate your learning to other people.

Whether you are a governing body member, a staff member or volunteer, this module will introduce you to some practical fundraising tools and help you to understand your role in successful fundraising.
Communications Basics
Learn about the role of communications in a nonprofit organisation and how to go about creating a basic communications plan. Whether you are a governing body member, a staff member or volunteer, this module will introduce basic tools that will help you to reach your target audience.
Risk Management Basics
Learn about the importance of risk management for nonprofit organisations and how it plays a key role in good governance. Whether you are a governing body member, a staff member or volunteer, this module will introduce the principles of risk management and the steps in putting together a simple risk management process.
